            Abstract : 
PIC methods are widely used in the plasma simulation community. Alternative noise-free Vlasov methods are used much less, as they are characterized with high numerical diffusion. We discuss conservation properties of a particular Vlasov scheme, and addition of particle collisions into the conservative Vlasov method. Finally, we´ll touch new hybrid PIC-Vlasov approach.
