The research on Euro turbocharged technology for gasoline engine

Increasing power output performance, decreasing fuel consumptions and reducing emission pollutions have become the direction and object of the motor development now. In order to achieve the object, the engineers have taken various measures. Among them, Turbo charging technology was the better improving method. Now several new turbocharger systems are used in gasoline engine-VTG in Porsche car, TSI in VW car, Twinturbo in BMW car and so on. The paper analyzed these advanced technologies. The efficiency and the innovative points of the new turbo charging technologies were mainly discussed in the paper.
