Abstract :
The material-level control of preheating cylinder in the thermofiner of the hot-grinding system is highly nonlinear, and also has a pure delay. Our paper proposes a promising fusion of immune algorithm and PID algorithm to deal with this challenging problem. The MATLAB-based simulations demonstrate that the proposed hybrid controller has the remarkable properties of quick response, good robustness, and satisfactory overshoot. It is considerably effective in improving the control performance of the hot-grinding system.
