Abstract
This paper expounds the basic ideas and features of Monte Carlo random experiment. It describes two acoustic passive localization algorithms used in the field of engineering (planar four-element cross array and stereo five-element pentahedron array), and then describes their accuracy analysis. We have done a simulation on the two passive localization algorithms based on Monte Carlo random experiment, then analyze and compare their directional accuracy and influencing factors, from that we have obtained useful results.
