Study on stray load losses algorithm based on Eh-star method

The EH-star method for testing stray load losses of three-phase induction motor provides a new method. In this article, we studied on the algorithm of testing stray load losses of three-phase induction motor with EH-star method, and described in detail the algorithm characteristics: complex operation and the application of positive and negative sequence components. Finally we knew the derivation formulas, which could get the value of stray load losses. Studies have shown, EH-star method is in high feasibility and more economical. And the algorithm has the features of complexity and flexibility. But in China it is at a fledgling state, studying on algorithm shall provide basis for further progress.
