Abstract
To evaluate the intraobserver and interobserver variability of an online quantitative coronary angiographic system, 166 lesions were measured three times by each of two independent observers before and after angioplasty. Before angioplasty 95% of the values for percent stenosis obtained by observers 1 and 2 were within a range of 13.2% and 15.5%, respectively, but these respective ranges increased to 19.2% and 16.8% after angioplasty. For measurements of absolute diameters of the minimal luminal diameter 95% limits of agreement between both observers were -0.26 to 0.28 before and -0.38 to 0.37 after PTCA. These ranges were independent of stenosis severity or vessel size
