Abstract :
A compliance mechanism for mold polishing is proposed in this paper. The mechanism mounted on end actuator of robot was used to clamp cutting tool, and whose movement was composed by linear movement of three air cylinder. After simulation, the mechanism can change position and attitude of cutting tool along profile of mold polishing surface. Its effectiveness is verified.
