Abstract
The calculation of the large-scale Interconnected power grid is a difficult task, because on the one hand, the mathematical model´s dimension of the problem may be too large for numerical solving, on the other hand, under the hierarchical control mode, each control center can only obtain the information of the system in its own region and therefore is inadequate for accurate analyzing. In view of this situation, this paper firstly introduces 3 algorithms for linear-equations piecewise iteration solving, and then proposes a divisional-alternant-iteration load flow calculation method for large-scale interconnected power system. With the method, power flow concurrent computation can be easily implement on common Personal Computers (PCs); moreover, with the method, the distributed parallel algorithm of power flow can be realized in Local-Area-Networks(LANs). As power flow is the base of most calculations, the method provides a prominent solution for realtime calculation of modern power systems. Finally, the IEEE-30 buses system and the China northeast power grid are used to test the algorithm.
