Abstract
Explosion of tungsten wire in longitudinal magnetic field is studied. It is shown that imposition of the magnetic field leads to decrease of initial disturbances. Qualitative agreement of the recorded and calculated electrical and optical patterns of wire explosion and dispersion is obtained.
