Abstract :
A new method is proposed to control harmonics individually in their respective individual synchronous reference frame (ISRF) for active filter applications. This new controller overrides the positive sequence fundamental synchronous reference frame (FSRF) current controller and acts to control the harmonics individually. Overall dynamic performance is improved in this way with lesser computational effort. Both closed loop and open loop approaches for implementing the same are presented
