Abstract
In this paper a theoretical and experimental analysis of the voltage stress on the power semiconductors employed in a bridge leg of a unidirectional three-phase three-level PWM (VIENNA) rectifier is given. Furthermore, a new turn-on snubber is proposed which does improve the rectifier efficiency by 0.3% as verified by an experimental analysis and a detailed loss breakdown
