  • Abstract
Ports in Pearl River Delta have a very dense distribution, overlapped economic hinterland and fierce competition, so the efficiency of port resources is low. By analyzing the status of development of each port, it´s necessary and feasible to carry out the integration strategy among Pearl River Delta ports. The core of the integration is the integration of the operations management, including the establishment of the integration cooperating agency, the differentiation port positioning and the unified management system, etc. The support of the integration is the integration of public infrastructure, which mainly includes the unified planning, anchorage ground, shorelines, transportation, etc. At last, the paper proposes the safeguards of the integration from four respects: policy, technology, capital and talents. Unlike the traditional approach, this paper makes integration plan of port cluster in Pearl River Delta from the view of port operations management.
