Recent advances in fiber Bragg gratings written in polymer optical fibers

In the last years, polymer optical fibers (POFs) were pointed out as a viable alternative to silica fibers in many fields such as in sensing and optical communications. In this work we will show our recent developments regarding the production of high quality fiber Bragg gratings in polymer optical fibers and their potential applications.
