Abstract :
In this paper, RCP (rapid control prototyping) method for robot soccer system with SIMTool, is proposed. It is composed of I/O (input/ouput) blocks and robot soccer control toolbox. I/O blocks include a input block to receive information from vision system and a output block to send control inputs to soccer robots in robot soccer system. Robot soccer control toolbox can be effectively used to implement the controllers for any soccer robots without additional modification and also to design better controllers with modification of them. RCP method for robot soccer system with SIMTool can provide more efficient platform of developing robot soccer system rather than traditional development platform based on the hand-written coding
