Abstract
A novel approach to the H ∞ generalized sensitivity minimization problem for single-input-single-output, continuous-time plants is presented. The problem is solved by the YJBK parametrization of all stabilizing controllers, exploiting the linear-quadratic solution of an underlying L 2 underlying problem. It is shown that the procedure yields substantial advantages in the control law evaluation in terms of both conceptual neatness and complexity reduction
