Abstract :
In this paper, observability in 3 dimensional homing engagement is analyzed for the target tracking with bearing only measurements (BOM) applied to passive homing missile systems. Based on the analysis, 3-dimensional homing guidance law to enhance observability is proposed. 6-DOF simulation studies indicate that the proposed guidance law enhances the estimation performance
