  • Abstract
    An integrated evaluation system for acid-base balance is proposed based on laboratory results in medical practice. It provides degree of each disorder type in acid-base disorder based on fuzzy inference and the reason of each disorder with laboratory results except blood gas test. Evaluation experimental results for 11936 data taken in clinical laboratory of Kochi Medical School Hospital show that healthcare professional in clinical practice evaluates the results as the same as knowledge of clinical practice. The proposed system is a basic system of diagnostic support in evaluation for clinical examination.
