Abstract :
We describe a method for scaling images which have been acquired with a charge coupled device (CCD) sensor. This method produces enlarged images which are sharper than those produced by bilinear interpolation, for comparable complexity. It is based on the observation that the sampling process of a CCD is not a point sampling process, but instead can be modelled as an averaging filter followed by sampling
