Abstract :
IEEE is developing application standards for the interconnection of distributed generation to the distribution system grid. NRECA has published an application guide to the proposed IEEE 1547 standard. This guide gives the rural electric system engineer a hands-on reference outlining appropriate methods for meeting the requirements of IEEE 1547. This paper describes the process used for developing this guide and outlines the components of the guide
