Abstract
In this paper, we study the robust internal stability problem of sampled-data systems. We confine ourselves to a simple class of separators with which we apply the separator-type stability theorem derived recently, and show that the robust stability analysis with that class can be classified into two types of methods as far as real scalar parametric uncertainties are concerned. Moreover, we clarify that each of these methods can be regarded as an extended version of an associated existing method. Furthermore, we study the relation between these two types of methods and compare their effectiveness from the viewpoint of conservativeness of the robust stability analysis
