Abstract :
The accuracy of power system stability simulations is determined by the validity of the model topologies and parameter values used for the subsystems such as the automatic voltage regulator (AVR), etc. This paper presents the results of a laboratory investigation to determine the parameters of an AVR off-line using pseudo-random binary sequence (PRBS) perturbations applied at the AVR reference voltage input
