Abstract
Angle of Arrival (AoA) estimation play an important role in localization systems. Many different techniques can be found in literature. One of these is using Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI). RSSI has drawbacks within real environments because of reflecting signals. In order to improve this we studied the Link Quality Indicator (LQI) parameter. The experimental results made on a real radio module show that the LQI parameter does not help in resolving AoA estimation.
