Abstract :
This paper describes a visualization design for network information representation. The aim of the design is to provide graphical presentations of large-scale and complex networks and help network administrators to manage large-scale networks easily and detect failures on networks promptly. Central to the design is the visualization of network topologies with rich information about the device and connections within the network visually displayed. Based on the design, a prototype application has been implemented using the NetBeans platform, and it has been run over a university-scale network to test the performance.
