Abstract :
To direct at the defects of external pin´s skew, curve, inconsistent length or lack, as well as internal pin´s pop-up undesirability and lack produced in the production process of connectors, combined with the features of defective, the paper puts forward a detection method for connector´s eligibility based on region form characteristics. First, it analysed the extraction of connector morphological characteristics and provided the basis for confirming quality detection method, then, based on threshold segmentation, regional calculation, sub pixel precision, minimum circumscribed rectangle algorithm, dot and line filteration, etc, solved the quality detection of connector´s internal and external pins. Experimental result shows that the research method is effective, practical and reliable.
