Abstract
A technique for the control of frequency deviation in interconnected power systems is introduced. The technique is based on the application of linear feedback H -infinity robust controllers in the power system model. The controller response should be fast enough to offset the frequency errors due to load variations. Simulation results show the superior performance of the proposed controllers compared with other classical as well as LQR controllers
