Abstract :
There are many differences between transmission line and distribution circuit. The Line Object in IEC 61968/61970 CIM what used for transmission line is not suitable for distribution circuit. Based on the characteristics of distribution circuit, Ring, Circuit and Circuit Section Objects are proposed. And these Objects are used for modeling typical distribution network. Using these Objects Model is very useful for information exchange with distribution GIS system, distribution networks design, distribution topology analysis, fault localization.
