Abstract :
To monitor the thermal situation of the blast furnace stave and to prolong the lifetime of the blast furnace, the neural network simulation technique is introduced for mathematical simulation of a blast furnace stave. Based on the heat-transfer model and the data of the test, the relationship of the maximum temperature of hot surface of the blast furnace staves and survey points on the stave with uniform temperature and local high temperature in hot surface on staves is explored. The monitoring model for staves is trained by taking advantage of the experimental data to improve the degree of agreement between the model and practical physical as well. The model can predict the thermal situation of a blast furnace stave on-line.
