Abstract :
An experiment of adaptive polarization mode dispersion compensation of optical communication systems is reported in this paper. The compensated PMD value is up to 30 ps. Automatic tracking time is about 1 to 2 seconds. The quasi-real-time adaptive PMD compensation is realized.
