            Abstract :
This paper represents analysis of the asymmetrical voltage-cancellation (AVC) control technique to achieve lower harmonic components in output power of full-bridge series resonant inverters. Minimization of the total harmonic distortion (THD) is achieved by means of varying the control angles. This would be yield to high efficiency, rapid heating and high performance temperature control in induction-heating appliance. Harmonic components in the output voltage of the full-bridge series resonant inverters are analyzed in detail and comparative study shows that the AVC control technique achieves lower THD than conventional fixed-frequency control strategies
