Abstract :
In this paper, we present a novel control strategy for motor drivers, which we have called fixed switching frequency hybrid control (FSPHC). Based on models of both motor and inverter, the hybrid control uses a formal representation of the inverter-machine group behaviour. For one constant period modulation, switching states and different vector application times are determined. This control scheme is applied to a permanent magnet synchronous motor and satisfactory experimental results are showed.
