Abstract :
Due to the disadvantages of lower input power factor, high harmonics and switching loss in the conventional switching mode power supply, a high-power-factor switching mode power supply is presented. The principle of active power factor correction is analyzed. The resonant stage of soft-switching is studied. The experimental circuits are realized. The experimental results show that the input current harmonic can be reduced efficiently, the efficiency of power supply can be improved largely by using soft-switching.
