Abstract :
This paper describes reduction methods for false-outlines, overload edge noise and flicker based on optimal templates design including motion detection by multi-level discrete time cellular neural networks (DTCNN). The templates are designed by the minimization of Lyapunov-energy function to minimize the least-square distortion for digital still and moving images. High quality of the digital images was demonstrated by using a Canon ferroelectric liquid crystal display (FLCD) which is the first commercial display device with bilevel for red, green, blue or white
