Abstract :
It is known that a model signal extracted from a vowel has two characteristic frequency bands, named formant F1 and formant F2. Therefore we made two real signal mother wavelets from these formants and examined methods of comparing vowels by using these wavelets. And we developed the instruction system of vowel pronunciations for children who are hard of hearing
