Abstract :
Novel information presentation methods for museums have recently been investigated. In particular, Mixed-reality techniques that superimpose virtual images onto physical exhibits are effective in catching the visitors´ interest. We propose a Mixed-reality system called ExFloasion in this paper that does not require special viewing devices. It is capable of changing the sizes of virtual images according to that of the exhibit, and presents layered floating images to create a 3D visual effect.
