Abstract
In this paper, we propose a mathematical modeling of the magnetization curve B(H) using the characteristic of the differential permeability μd(H). Two mathematical models are proposed: one is polynomial, and the other one is a sum of two exponential functions. The identification of the parameters of the models is carried by the methods of linear and non linear optimization. The validation of the exponential model is not affected by the noises related to the μd(H) measurement signal.
