Abstract
This paper deals with the main current perturbation such as harmonic pollution generation in the electrical systems under distorted and unbalanced mains voltages conditions. The shunt active filter will be used to compensate these perturbations. For disturbing currents identification, the p-q and modified p-q algorithms are investigated. The reference current will be regulated by average current mode control (ACMC). The simulation results show the effectiveness of the p-q algorithm associated with the positive sequence voltage detector block, in the object to identify correctly the reference currents under non sinusoidal mains voltages conditions. The disadvantages of the use of the standard p-q algorithm, in these conditions, are essentially the injection of undesirable harmonics in the line current.
