Abstract :
Aiming at ¿free-rider¿ phenomenon in peer-to-peer network, a new balance mechanism in which the control point is on the service providers is proposed. Compared with the traditional methods, this mechanism promises the existence of free-riders in certain degree and the inconsistency of topology has also been considered fully. Using it can encourage nodes to participate in sharing resources with other nodes in the network actively. The simulations result proves that this balance mechanism is able to use network resources effectively, and it can also restraint serious free-riding behavior.
