Abstract :
The methodology for the piecewise linear modeling of a varactor-tuned microwave oscillator is developed, and applied to the X-band voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) designed for this purpose. The component values of the lumped models are evaluated. The measured and calculated values are compared with the results obtained from computer simulations
