Abstract :
This text is about design and implementation software system of number inquiry basing on WAP protocol and this system support single-unit operation which is downloaded on mobile phone. Considering cross-platform and transportability, this system is designed adopting J2ME. The platform disunity can be avoided which is caused by equipment difference of terminal unit, such as, various mobile telephone. And its powerful network communication capacity will play a very important role in the forthcoming 3G generation.
