Abstract :
One approach of solving the synthesis problem of the microstrip antenna array according to the prescribed magnitude pattern is considered. The mutual coupling of the radiators is taken into account in approximation of the given current distribution on the radiators. The synthesis problem of the finite antenna array consists in determining such amplitude-phase distribution of voltages on the entrances of array elements which create the amplitude directivity pattern (DP) arbitrary close to the given one. The Tichonov functional is used as optimization criterion. It characterizes the mean-square component deviation of the given and synthesized amplitudes DP and put the limitations on the norm of the excitation sources of the array. Further, the finding of the solutions, investigations of their quantity and qualitative characteristics are reduced to the numerical solving and research of the Euler equation for the considered functional
