Abstract :
The system of wireless networks design is intended to search for the optimal location of the base stations on the ground or in a building is represented. The system enables one to create, edit and to delete objects (houses, if it is the plan of the district or walls, windows and doors, if it is the plan of a building) with a wide spectrum of parameters (dielectric constant, permeability and conductivity). Besides that, the system permits one to introduce the given parameters of the transmitter and to calculate the complex amplitude of an electromagnetic field taking into account the waves incident, reflected, or transmitted through obstacles and the refracted rays by using the geometrical theory of diffraction. It is also possible to calculate the channel impulse and frequency responses and the average delay time
