Abstract :
This paper presents a study on a broadband multiservices residential access network based on Ethernet over DWDM. The concept is to expand the capacity of the current cable TV network by adding optic fibers, and also to provide multiservices using the Ethernet protocols. The network architecture and the residential gateway are discussed in the paper.
