Abstract :
It becomes to extend robot service domains to intelligent proactive services from simple services by user command in the ubiquitous computing environment. In this paper, we propose a service feasibility estimation system for the URC services. This offers to realize proactive robot services in the intelligent URC system. The proposed system senses changes of the indoor environment, and extracts service goals from the context processed data, estimates various service feasibilities based on the selected candidate service lists such as suitability of service status, conformity with service policy, activity of target service. It is able to extend conventional limited and passive robot service areas by more various proactive robot service areas, and is able to decide service situations and propose substantially robot services
