  • Abstract
    The importance and the role of discrete mathematics topics in the domain of information technology and communications are discussed. Some connections and applications of these topics with the content of consecrated topics in an information technology program are explored. A special emphasis is given to the applications of classical and fuzzy logic in information technology.
