Abstract :
A method for estimating the radiation resistance of synthetic quartz crystals grown in the same cycle is proposed. It is based on the analysis of changes in Q-factor caused by the radiation of isotope Co60. The method is reliable for selecting quartz crystals appropriate for manufacture of radiation-resistant resonators; it is also effective for optimizing the conditions of high-quality quartz crystal growth and developing the construction of precision resonators
