Abstract
There has been a lot of research work being done for the protection of media applications, i.e. images, video, etc., available on the Internet from unauthorized use and distribution. With the emerging technology of the MPEG-4 XMT standard, MPEG-4 scenes, which can include images, video, etc., can easily be created using the structured text based format. To protect and authenticate MPEG-4 XMT scenes, a whole new approach needs to be considered. This paper is the first for proposing a new common robust algorithm that is able to authenticate the MPEG-4 XMT scenes and locate any nodes with watermarked media applications.
