Abstract
The approximate analytical formulas for eigenvalues and vibration modes for homogeneous anisotropic plates with varied thickness are obtained. It is supposed that the vibration modes with one or some semi-waves of deformations in the thickness direction of the plate are localized near the point of maximal thickness. The influence of the irregular heating on the working frequency of the quartz resonator is studied by the perturbation method
