The march towards standards in safety related systems
Abstract :
This paper demonstrates that the development of safety-related software and systems needs additional levels of skill to other types of systems. There are international standards being developed to aid the developer and there are cost-effective methods of testing and assessing the safety without the recourse to formal mathematical methods in every case. Both these developments are explored
