Abstract :
Nano-sized Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 (BST) powders are used to develop 0??3 nanocomposite. In the experiment, P(VDF-CTFE) copolymer was used as polymer matrix. It is found that the wettability between the polymer and ceramic powders is poor. The process to improve homogeneity of the composite was investigated. The uniform nanocomposites were obtained by using multi-layer hot press after solution casting. The dielectric response vs. volume fraction of the BST was studied in the frequency range from 100Hz to 10MHz. A dielectric constant of 68 with a loss of 0.07 was obtained at 1 kHz in the nanocomposite of 40% volume percent of BST.
