Abstract :
Participatory sensing is an emerging paradigm that enables people to participate in data collection for various purposes. Since this approach was put forward, there have been many participatory sensing systems developed in areas such as environmental monitoring, urban monitoring, and visit monitoring. However most of such systems focus on the technical infrastructure placing less emphasis on interaction design. This paper addresses key issues in developing information systems for participatory sensing based on scenario analysis and proposes a multi-agent architecture to facilitate interactions in participatory sensing system.
